Shelter Island Sign Shop, Inc. has been serving San Diego for over 43 years dedicating our work to quality and service. Established in 1966 by Horace Rost in Shelter Island Boatyard, we got started by Hand Painting Names on Yachts and general sign work with high end clients. Since 1980 Horace retired and John Hurst and Jason Hurst have continued the tradition of old school experience and today's newest technologies. Being a family owned business it has given Shelter Island Sign Shop, Inc. an edge in keeping our customer's complete experience in true sign design. We specialize in custom sign work and offer a wide varity of options in every aspect of sign making, using traditional hand painted techniques to your basic vinyl sign.
